The rise of the naked cake
Naked Cake ooo-er I hear you cry, no this is not the type of cake you will find at a hen party but I refer to the rise of the un-iced cake.
All things vintage are still on trend for this summers weddings, and the naked cake features highly on the list of must haves.
At Cake Daydreams we have been lucky enough to create a few naked cakes for our customers, and I love to see how they use the cake as a canvas and make it match into their theme, maybe placing the cake on a wooden tree stump or vintage cake stand.
Naked cakes come in many guises - tiered cakes adorned with fresh flowers, tiered cakes overloaded with fresh grapes, figs and berries, or maybe oozing with lovely preserves and cream.
How about a dessert table with a number of'naked cakes in differing flavours.
However you decide to decorate and display your naked cake I can guarantee it will be a crowd pleaser.
